ADS8900BEVM-PDK

The ADS8900BEVM-PDK from Texas Instruments is a performance demonstration kit (PDK) to evaluate the performance of ADS8900B IC. This ADS8900B is a SAR ADC fully-differential input, 24 pin QFN, 20bit, 1MSPS device. The ADS8900B transfers data to the PHI board via the multiSPI digital interface. An easy to use PC based application (GUI) is available to help evaluate the performance of the ADC on the ADS8900B EVM. This kit is comprised of a ADC evaluation board (EVM), a precision host interface board (PHI), a micro USB cable and board attachment screws. The EVM features two SMA connectors that support fully differential analogue input signals for the ADC. Hardware and software required for diagnostic testing as well as accurate performance evaluation of the ADS8900B ADC. The PHI controller provides a convenient communication interface to the ADS8900B ADC over a USB 2.0 (or higher) for power delivery as well as digital input and output.
