LTC4368HDD-2#PBF

The LTC4368HDD-2#PBF from Linear Technology is a 100V UV/OV and reverse protection controller with bidirectional circuit breaker in 10 pin DFN package. It protects applications from power supply voltages that may be too high, too low or even negative and from overcurrent faults in both forward & reverse directions. The LTC4368 controls gate voltage of a pair of external N-channel MOSFETs to ensure that load is connected to input supply only when there are no voltage or current faults. Two comparator inputs allow configuration of overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) set points using an external resistive divider. A current sense resistor sets forward and reverse circuit breaker current thresholds. After forward current fault, it will either latch off power or retry after a user adjustable delay. After reverse current fault, it waits for output to fall 100mV below input to reconnect power to load. UV/OV faults also trigger 32ms recovery delay before external MOSFETs are turned back
