ADS8910BEVM-PDK

The ADS8910BEVM-PDK from Texas instruments is a ADS8910B SAR analogue to digital converter performance demonstration kit (PDK). The ADS8910B is a fully differential input, 1bit, 1MSPS SAR ADC. This PDK is a platform for evaluating performance of ADS8910B successive approximation register analogue to digital converter (SAR ADC). The evaluation kit includes ADS8910BEVM board which includes ADS8910B SAR ADC, all the peripheral analogue circuits and components required to extract optimum performance from the ADC and PHI controller board that enables the accompanying computer software to communicate with the ADC over USB. For data capture and analysis. The PHI board primarily serves three functions including providing communication interface from EVM to computer through a USB port. It also provides digital input and output signals necessary to communicate with the ADS8910BEVM, supplies power to all active circuitry on ADS8910B board along with the ADS8910BEVM and PHI controller board.
