The 1.5KE56CA from Littelfuse is a 1500W, bidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-201 package. It is constructed with glass passivated chip junction. It features excellent clamping capability, fast response time and low incremental surge resistance. The 1.5KE series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.
