The MAX809SN293D1T1G is a microprocessor reset monitor in 3 pin SOT-23 package. This cost effective microprocessor voltage supervisor has very low supply current. It is designed to monitor VCC in digital systems and provides a reset signal to host processor when necessary. The reset output is driven active within 10µs of VCC falling through reset voltage threshold. Reset is maintained active for a timeout period which is trimmed by factory after VCC rises above the reset threshold. The MAX809 is optimized to reject fast transient glitches on the VCC line. Low supply current of 0.5µA (VCC= 3.2V) makes this device suitable for battery powered applications, computers, embedded systems and critical microprocessor power supply monitoring applications.
