EVAL-AD5422EBZ

The EVAL-AD5422EBZ is an evaluation board for evaluating the AD5422 single channel, 16bit, current source and voltage output DAC, HART connectivity. The EVAL-AD5422 is a full featured evaluation board that is designed to allow the user to easily evaluate all features of the 16bit AD5422 current source and voltage output digital to analog converter (DAC). All of the AD5422 pins are accessible at onboard connectors for external connection. The board can be controlled by two means, via the onboard connector (J8) or via the USB port of a windows 2000, NT, XP-based PC using the AD5422 evaluation software. The default setup is for control via the USB port. The evaluation board can be used as a standalone board, with control coming from an external DSP or microcontroller, or it can be connected to a PC via USB interface. Software is provided that can be used to program the registers of the AD5422 via the USB interface to the PC.
