MA240025-2

The MA240025-2 is a plug-in module for 144-pin PIC24EP512GU814-I/PT graphics device. It is intended to be used with the explorer board (DM240001 or DM240002) for general-purpose applications or for graphics application development with the addition of the graphics PICtail plus daughter board (AC164127). These PIC24E devices contain a peripheral pin select (PPS) feature that allows most of the Digital peripherals to be remapped to use any number of pins on the device. Because the PIC24EP512GU814 device has 144-pins and the PIM socket can only route 100 pins down to the explorer 16 board, 28 I/O pins are multiplexed using zero ohm resistors. Designers can utilize the PPS feature and modify the functionality by adding or removing these resistors. In addition, 32 I/O pins are routed to test points on top of the PIM PC board to provide full access to available pins.
